Our Caring Staff

When Francis and Pat first purchased the funeral home in 1974 it was run very much as a “Mom and Pop” operation which was typical of that era. Many funeral home owners had living quarters above the funeral home and did not stray too far from the building just in case they were called upon to help a family. Francis and Pat were no exception and lived for many years above the funeral home. With the advent of cell phones and modern technology, funeral directors like Francis were able to enjoy more freedom and get away from the funeral home once in a while. Along with a few dedicated part-time people Francis and Pat were able to give great service to the families they served and many people over the years have remarked to both Ruth-Ann and Ed how dedicated her parents were in the service to others. Today, when you come to our funeral home, you will see many more faces on our staff, each of whom are committed to caring for grieving families. No job or job description is more important than any other as it takes a team effort to ensure everything runs smoothly. Ed and Ruth-Ann are proud of the exemplary people who comprise our staff. They truly understand funeral service and try very hard to anticipate what a family or individual may need. They really are, the backbone of our business.
