VACCA, Rocco – Passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday February 8, 2010 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Bernarda (2007). Dearly loved father of the late Arduino Vacca and his wife Maria, Angela Belli and her husband Peter, Natalino “Nick” Vacca and his wife Francesca and Mirella Sorge and her late husband Rodolfo. Loving grandfather of John (Tina) Belli, Rocco “Rocky” (Maria) Vacca, Sonia (Jerry) Buccilli, Anthony Vacca, Luciano (Shelly) Sorge, Joe (Maria) Belli, Dino (Connie) Sorge and Christina Sorge and great-grandfather of ten. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Anita (Antonio) Chiovitti, Maria (Pasquale) Marinelli, Teresa Sorge and Adele Gravina and brother-in-law of Giuseppe Palmieri and Ida Vacca. Predeceased by his parents Arduino and Giacinta Vacca, his brother Armando Vacca, his sister Lina Palmieri and his brothers-in-law Luigi Sorge and Giovanni Gravina. Mr. Vacca was born in Ceprano, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1957 where he worked in the construction industry for many years.
