McANDREW, Marguerite (December 17, 1924 – March 5, 2010) – “Here I am Lord, I heard You calling”. Marguerite passed away at Queenston Place Retirement Residence following complications of peripheral artery disease. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary McAndrew, her brothers Hazen (Clara) and Gerry and her sister Eileen (Doug) Boston. Marguerite lovingly says farewell to brother Raymond (Marlene), her nieces and nephews; Donna Rae Boston, Michael McAndrew, Edythe McAndrew, Louise Thackaberry, Joanne Heaney (Jimmy), Brian McAndrew (Nancy), Bridget Brooker and Barbara Formica and sister-in-law Alice McAndrew. She will be greatly missed by her great-nieces and great-nephews; Michael McAndrew Jr., Gerry McAndrew, Kelly McAndrew, Andrew and Grainne Heaney as well as many cousins and friends. Marguerite was a long time employee of the Bank of Montreal, Queen St. and Niagara Square branches and a devoted member of St. Patrick’s Church. Special thanks for their tender loving care is extended to all the staff at Queenston Place, St. Elizabeth nurses, the staff from We Care Health services, nurses at G.N.G.H. and Drs. Velji and Doobay.
