Dear father of Elizabeth MacFarland (Patrick), Cathy Downes (Daniel Bellemare) and Michael Downes. Much loved grandfather of Meghan and Matthew MacFarland and Sarah and Joseph Downes. Dear brother of Betty (the late James) Fisher of New Jersey, Mary (Boris) Dimitroff and Tessie (the late Wilfred) Helmink, both of Niagara Falls and the late James (Mary) Downes. Brother-in-law of Doreen (Joseph) Meischeid of Pennsylvania and the late Bernard Glynn, Enid (the late Clayton) Hildebrandt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
