DeCaria, Elena – It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Elena DeCaria announces her passing at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, surrounded by her loving children on Thursday July 15, 2010 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Rosario “Ross” DeCaria (1984). Dearly loved mother of Alex (Josephine) DeCaria, Frank DeCaria, Annamaria (Phil) Folino and Victor (Liz) DeCaria. Cherished Nana of Elena, Ross A., Francesco, Ross P., Tia and Christian. Dear sister of Francesco (the late Anna) Cricenti, Tony (Catharine) Cricenti and Vito Cricenti. Dear sister-in-law of Victoria (Mario) Michienzi and Elenora (the late Ralph) Cupiracci. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews especially her nieces Maria D’Aprile and Teresa (Carmelo) Fasillo. Predeceased by her parents Foca and Marianna Cricenti, her sisters Concettina, Maria, Caterina and Teresa, her brothers Vincenzino, Mario and Peppino and her sister-in-law Angelina DeCaria and her husband Joseph. Mrs. DeCaria had worked for 32 years at the Nabisco canning factory in St. David’s.
